Daniel Day Lewis had an amazing performance, and I was absolutely riveted when anytime he was on screen. But overall I feel like the story kept undercutting itself.

Movie was worth seeing, but lacked cohesiveness.

The movie was plainly storytelling for me.

Being hearing impaired, it was difficult to understand the words spoken. The scenes did not appear to flow smoothly and was bit disconnected. The plot was a bit slow paced. Daniel Day Lewis carried the movie with raw emotion - which is important in a film with sparse dialog.
