Overall the film was great and the acting but there was certain parts of film that cause mainly my wife be to be confused about parts of the movie and story line.

fun movie with great performances

Equal parts funny and introspective, as well as wild and subversive. Maggie Gyllenhaal spins a twisted tale and has a hell of a good time doing it. Jesse Buckley‘s lead performance is cementing her as one of the top talents in recent years. Christian Bale and Benning also perform at top tier level. The movie was a wild ride from start to finish!

My review on Letterboxd was simply, "Maggie Gyllenhaal is a genius!"
