Not much plot - too many unnecessary performance numbers. Likable characters had promise, but just too shallow of a movie.

Overall, I found this movie incredibly dull and way too cringe worthy. I found that instead of having a hint of drama, it blew up every dramatic event into something massively unbelievable. I was not a fan and sadly, I won't be reccomeding it.

It was okay,nothing great about the movie.wished you would have used Klein more he was great in fish called Wanda,Dave,he was more of a prop that an actor,none of the music bits were that great,nothing that would make you run out and buy the soundtrack.You had Rick Springfield in the movie and you never had an inside joke about Jessie's girl or at least played it at the end during the credits.

The movie should have focused more on the family dynamic. Ricki's relationship with her kids should have been explored in depth.
