A PG rated movie that should have been released closer to Easter for any hope of box office impact. The plot was too simple. Character development could was horrendous. And the coverall experience unbelievable and inauthentic. There's was a lacking of depth and direction with regards to capturing the audience With Exodus and Gods of Egypt set to release, this movie greatly lessens expectations

Fiennes did a good job as Clavius. However, I couldn't help but feel the other actors were simply "going through the motions". I never felt their emotion or motivation. That is especially true of Yeshua and his disciples. The movie also lacked modern special effects which could have made the viewers feel more a part of the movie. For example, the curing of the leper. One minute he is hideous, but largely unseen. Then when he turns around after turning away from the camera he is "cured".

I liked the movie. At the end he believed and was happy knowing it was true.

It was okay. It's not 100% Bible based. The Bible is exciting and adventurous, there is no need to receeate, add or remove things. Storyline was good. But I just would not call is Bibical movie
