Interesting, slow moving, weak supporting actors

Too much focus on trying to prove that Jesus was still dead, rather than on what happen after he rose.

It was somewhat enjoyable but the movie did drag at times. I did find some of the scenes depicting events from the Bible were not very accurate. I understand artistic freedom but when dealing with a religious subject it must be worked very delicately. I found the Roman character to be very one dimensional & I didn't really care what happened to him. The beginning plays out like a mystery but I already know the story so I wasn't surprised at the end. The scenes with Jesus were the best.

Really terrible first 30 minutes, but it picks up a little bit once the action starts. The storyline was muddled, the script was loaded with clichés, it’s tonally inconsistent, characters are poorly defined, and the action never reached the heights of the other Wick movies.
