Excellent. Carey Mulligan's performance was superb, and the casting of the various male actors known for "nice-guy" roles and rom-coms was inspired. The intertextual references are brilliant. I found the writing to be smart and trenchant, if occasionally over-obvious. The film's social import is crucial right now, and I will eagerly be recommending the film to others. I'm a fan of Emerald Fennell's from "Killing Eve" and was quite happy with this new work.

Good flick. Topical and a psychological study of a young woman going through grief.

Excellent. Dark, heart-breaking, infuriating, yet often funny. The movie felt fully original and energetic. Carey Mulligan was perfection. I did not feel fully prepared for the tone change in the final act... but after reflection, I think it still felt inevitable for the character. I felt creatively inspired after watching. Truly excited for what this new writer/director has in her future.
