Though I enjoyed the storyline, the direction by Kevin Reynolds was uneven, plodding and didn't know what it wanted to accomplish. They treated the story like a law and order spinoff. It was just missing something. I did find myself bored at times. Cliff Curtis played a great part though.Again liked the story but felt like I was watching this on prime tv versus a movie quality picture.Thank you so much for the free passes &the; opportunity to give feedback. The concept of the film had a lot of potential, unfortunately it turned out to be uninteresting and dragged on a bit. I did love how Tom Felton played a man named Lucious, like his father in Harry Potter. I could also tell when there were cuts in production value, especially in the opening fight scene. Overall, I think this would a good movie to watch at home.

It was an UNcompelling, dull production that lacked intensity. It actually felt like an underwhelming, made-for-TV movie. The movie just kinda' meandered and drifted its way though to a conclusion.Thanks for the opportunity to screen Risen. I'm very sorry for the negative review because, as a Christian, I REALLY looked forward to seeing this movie and REALLY wanted to like it!

I'm glad that it was a free screening. I would have been upset if I had paid for it. It felt longer than it actually was. The story was unique but it just didn't work for me. I liked that it focused on the resurrection to ascension. I didn't enjoy the ascension. Good effort but it just felt strange.
