A new take on an old story. The problem with the movie was its lack of identity. The struggle of modern dialogue, expressions, and actions vs a period piece instantly brought me out of the story and made me fully aware that I was in an auditorium full of people.

More specifically 2.755 out of 5. I'm in the process of writing a further review (because I fancy myself a critic)..but since you're asking a few thoughts;; Seems to be getting marketed as action packed. It's anything but. Great or at least better than average performances. A few decent shots. Well executed overall. Per those previous positives there's a huge but to add; seems a bit uneven as the movie opens up with action, turns into a 'whodunit', and than all of a sudden we're on a road trip

Not that interesting and WAYY to slow. The trailer made it seem epic like 300 but in reality it was boring.

The movie wasn't what I expected. It started off great but somewhere in the middle it begin to change. Several people left during the screening but I stayed to the end. I've seen movies of this type in the past and this one tells a very much different story. A lot of the movie after the resurrection doesn't line up with what I'm familiar with. I can only think that's why several people left during the screening. The attire of the cast was great. The location of the movie was great.
