It seemed more perfect for television rather than on the big screen. It just seemed like a life-time featured film.

Musically entertaining but highly predictable.

There is no doubt about it that Meryl Streep gave us a great performance once again. She is amazing. As far as the movie goes, it was okay with great songs. Just a little bit disappointed that Rick Springfield didn't sings a lot.

I see 70-80 films a year and didn't like this one very much at all. The acting was good (except for R.S.), but the script was really hokey and oftentimes unbelievable. Love Meryl Streep but she was mis-cast in this part. Enjoy Diablo Cody's other work, but this was not a very believable storyline. Unfortunately, just 2 stars. Thanks for the screening. Disappointing but not a waste of time.
