I don't like musicals but this one changed my mind. Loved the soundtrack. I enjoy all aspects of this film. Great story, great acting. I want to see it again!

I had chills all throughout the movie! I also love the detail it explained this more in this version than the original.

Is the Color Purple 2.0!!! Excellent performance by the main actors. The music and dance are the cherry on top!

It was a well put together modern version of the classic Color Purple. Also, normally I am not a fan of musicals but this was a great movie.
