This is somewhat of a thought provoking movie and you may have to see it multiple times to to understand it.I am not sure about the directors' decision on how the actors portrayed their characters - it made many scenes seem flat.While this is a science fiction movie and one has to suspend belief by nature there are some things I felt lacked realism - possibly to make a political statement.

Interesting build up to the ending, but lacked continuity with the book and the symbolism that was used in the film. I was hoping for more a scientific thriller, but left disappointed to find that the storyline was dull. A good cast of female leads, but lack of character development.

Good movie

Quirky and different reminiscent of Day of the Triffids with the focal point on the Lighthouse.It definitely kept your interest because it would go left when you thought it would go right.Interesting dynamic with mainly women as the characters. I enjoyed it and I would recommend seeing not as a blockbuster but as an indy style film
