intense and entertaining

Mel Gibson is back! What an incredible film this turned out to be. Quite graphic with very intense battle scenes that do justice to the horrific events that occurred during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Andrew Garfield did an amazing job portraying Desmond Doss. One of the central themes seemed to be "Don't judge a book by it's cover." He was seen as weak and turned out to be one of the bravest.
