Starts like a drive-in movie , but the football sequences are terrific. The unhappy ending will discourage many sports parent from their emphasis on making a football hero out of their sons.

I’m torn! I loved the first half of the movie. The last half was a whole different show.

At first I was excited the actors were well casted. Good acting costumes were well thought out. Cinematography was wonderful. I was so disappointed by the unessary bad language and gratuitous sexual scenes. They did not use that kind of language back in the 30's. The free loving was an insult to the movie and ruined the movie. Also what a crazy hard to follow unbelivable story. The story about the clan showing up at the end has been way over played and is tiresome. This movie was so disjointed It made me laugh River dancing vampires hahaha and the ending scenes were a ripoff of Rambo
