This was NOT a good movie. The dialogue was so simple, it created zero character depth. I felt zero connection to the characters because they all had the vocabulary of a 2nd grader. The directing was not that great either. Conversations felt unnatural and awkward and I gave my friend a few 'What the hell are they doing?!' looks throughout the movie. Definitely don't waste your money on this movie.

Very shallow, poorly acted characters. Numerous plot holes and corny.

Focusing mainly on football, it does little to develop the characters. More egregious was the depiction of the sport. From bad camera angles to choppy and inconsistent flow to games, it's clear the filmmaker never played the sport growing up. The film feels like a money-grab. I wanted to like this movie, but it rides on the coattails of a compelling true story and tells it in a mediocre fashion.
