This part of history is long overdue and appreciated. Movie started off slow and I was going to leave early but I stayed. Confusion over father at cemetery- was it for his fellow soldiers or his son. Confused whether the almost killing father with a gun or almost killing brother was his motivation for never using a weapon. The beginning storyline for brother seemed rushed and wonder whether us

Good movie. Well done.

Moving and authentic. Really awesome piece by Mel Gibson--he proves again his directorial skills are top-notch.

There were like two halves to this movie, the first half describe them the main character's life and why he chose to be a conscientious objector and the second half was the actual battle and I thought that was an effective way caring for this movie I thought Andrew Garfield did a good job which I wasn't sure he would be able to but I think he's come a long way and is growing as an actor.
