This was a good example of what it’s like to be the outsider from multiple angles. It also showed what it’s like to completely rely on one person to do the one thing you love and realizing that person doesn’t share your dream and that you need to let them go.

Loved the movie. We are familiar with the location (quarry included!) and loved how it really captured the atmosphere of Gloucester. We saw the original movie it is based on (La Famille Bélier) and this remake is just as emotional and sweet. But what makes this version even better is that the actors are deaf in real life, which was not the case with the original version. Bravo for inclusion!

At first, I wasn't too interested with the movie's plot but it gradually grew on me. It became a beautiful movie that became very important to tell. The subject matter isn't really discussed in movies and television but I learned and appreciated the message the film conveyed. Words are not as valuable as emotions and actions.
