What a feel-good, un-fussy, heartwarming story people can watch with their entire family (minus any children under 12, due to language/sexuality). I enjoy the spotlight on the deaf/CODA community, as well as the highlighting of poor-working-class New Englanders (I can relate to this, being from the same). It was simple in some ways (the whole "getting-into-Berklee" is unrealistic) but earnest.

For the most part, I liked it. Liked it was about a deaf family. Did not like that almost all the main cast was white.

It's great to see the deaf community portrayed in movies.

Seeing a special screening gave me a chance to recommend to others who will or consider seeing it after release.\r\rThe movie overall was an emotional coaster, providing the audience the beauty of family, whether or not you can hear the music, the message is still clear.
