The movie had a good message, but it kind of got lost because it was really long.

If you go in expecting the book, you will be disappointed. However, if you go in for nostalgia's sake to see all of your childhood favorites on screen, it was visually stunning. The trailer used Rush music, so I excitedly anticipated seeing how it would be used in the film, but never got it. All in all, good movie, just expected a few key things from the book but didn't get them.
