Though some (but not all) of the comedy lands and the chemistry between the two leads is strong throughout, the weak script and a story full of cliches ultimately leaves the movie feeling forgettable. A film with a concept like this, one that is so engrained in this age, needs to feel timeless in some way in order to live as more than simply a cash grab of the times. Sadly, the film can't.
