Didnt really live up to the hype. The storyline was too convaluted and distracting. The action sequences were alsobquite boring. I love Christian Bale as an actor but I'm tired of seeing him emaciated like in The Mechanic. i also thought this was a waste of major Hollywood talent such as Sir Ben Kingsley, Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Paul and John Turturro.

Thought it would have followed the real facts of Moses.

Visually stunning, but no wonderment. Pedantic, and looooooonnnnnngggggg. Christian Bale may as well have been asleep. ZERO passion.

Christian Bale is a marvelous actor, but his role as Moses cast him as much too low-key, particularly with the lack of confrontations with pharaoh about wanting God's people to leave Egypt and in the parting of the sea. John Turturro as Ramses’ pharaoh dad was a total miscast, and the failure to give Sigourney Weaver any major talking part in the movie was a waste of her talent. A flop!
