I was thinking it would be more bible based.

Great CGI, poor script, poor depiction of story, took all the good parts of the story out by a ridiculous depiction of God and a weak and pathetic way of showing his power. Too bad Hollywood missed the mark again. Christian Bale was surprisingly an ok Moses but man why take the script and God in this direction??? Ruined an amazing opportunity with the 3D and CGI available! What a shame.

A+ for acting and costumes/visuals but the story and script could have used a polish. Sigourney Weaver was wasted in this movie with barely a role to play. Have to admit it was strange to see an all white cast for a movie that literally takes place in Egypt. Rent don't buy.

Some very good scenes, but globally,, it doesn't work.
