It has a nice plot and is well acted.

Entertaining is the one-word review for "Ricki and the Flash." Using several additional words, the film highlights Meryl Streep's ability to play a woman who figured out earlier in her life--yet too late to avoid hurting those she loved--that she needed to pursue her dream. Rick Springfield unexpectedly triggers a tear or two, and there's not enough Kevin Kline, but, all in all, a fun film.

I was very hopeful as I love Meryl streep, Jonathan Demme and Diablo Cody, but I did not love the movie. I wanted more storyline or flashbacks about how the family got here. Would have been fun to see some late 70's early 80's settings. Loved Kevin Kline and Meryl and there could have been more explaining how the two different people got there. It was unbelieveable how these 2 characters got here
