The story was great! Streep was fantastic! The ending left much to be desired, way to easy. I hope there will be alternate endings on the DVD.

There were some parts that made me laugh, but I did not walk away thinking this is a great movie. Unnecessary language used. I do think they did a good job making the characters relatable.

Overall a good movie, a little over the top sometimes though. And the ending, while being feel good, was pretty stupid.

A pleasant and entertaining Movie. Meryl can do anything, and her sining and acting as a musician were spot on. As a professional musician myself, i always dislike when the portrayal of musicians on stage is not realistic and this was exceptional... and she sings great too!
