beautifully tastefully done

It was a little slow at times but not to the extreme. I went in thinking that I would not like the movie but I was drawn in and enjoyed it.

Director Tom Hooper focused so much on the aesthetic of this film, and it really is beautiful, but the story becomes a little one- dimensional in the third act. Eddie Redmayne is brilliant, but his character is reduced to very little by the end. Definitely worth going to see, but don't expect the strong ending this film deserves.
