I was not happy with the portrayal of penny wise! I was not scared if anything I was confused and upset. But the overall movie was good.

It's a faithful adaptation of the book; fans will like it a lot. But I found it unengaging - the many short set pieces get old. The film can't commit to suspense and tension, most of the horror scenes erupt too quickly. By the end of the movie you get a little tired. Poor pacing. The humor mostly worked and the kids were excellently cast. Great performances all around.

Not scary at all. Enjoyed the kid's banter. That's it!
