Gorgeous cinematography and "Stand By Me" kind of teen bonding distract from lack of explanation, clear plot or resolution.

More funny than scary

I'm not a fan of horror movies but this one kept me interested. It was nice that the kids deal with individual conflicts and at the same time with a shared conflict. It wasn't to long but enough to work on some of the characters. I never read the book so I don't know how it compares but it was different then the original It.
