Inspiring. Enjoyed the movie. What an amazing man!

I thought it was very well acted and was a very good script. I do wish less time had been spent on the graphic violence (yes, some is needed and expected in a very violent battle in the war, but it almost seemed gratuitous) and more time spent on the true nature of Doss' sacrifice even when he was injured (read the Medal of Honor recognition).

Intense. One of the best we have seen in a long time. Right up there with Saving Private Ryan - love the fact it is based on real people and real events. I enjoy this type of movie when they do the interviews with the actual survivors. Kudos. Will be recommending to friends. Thank you for this opportunity.

Accurate portrayal of WWII in Japan. Promotes patriotism. Good character development. Some humor/comic relief. Good acting. Intense and violent, however accurate.
