One of goriest war movie ever! But it was awesome! Glad to learn a true story of a hero!

This movie is a must see. It's heartbreaking and beautiful. It's just simply amazing.

I really enjoyed the movie. Sweet love story in beginning then action packed the remainder of movie.

Excellent acting, good cast. Historical accuracy evident. (The seppaku scene was gratuitous, however.) Will appeal to history buffs, fans of Vince Vaughn--great riff on his normal portrayals--and churning, bloody action scenes. Great acting by all.
