The movie was a little slow moving. It was a good story but also ended a bit open-ended...

Weird concept, but decent acting. I wouldn't pay to go see this in theaters though. Unfortunately I feel like a lot of money was spent on this movie that the studio won't make back. The soundtrack was amazing though!!

This movie was a laughable mess. While there were some interesting elements, the last half hour was embarrassingly bad. Britt Robertson overacted her scenes, as did Gary Oldman (some of the time). Asa Butterfield was engaging, but his character kept waffling between being a brilliant, clever young man stranded on Mars to being a scared babe in the woods who doesn't even know what a horse is on Earth. Note to writers: I'm pretty sure he was educated on Mars and would have learned about Earth, since he clearly knew what some things were. Don't waste your time or your money on this one!

A beautifully shot film, The Space Between Us suffers from a lazily written script that is cliche-ridden and extremely predictable. It was one eyeroll after another.
