The development of the movie is very well and unexpected.

I have participated in a number of virtual advance screenings and Focus Features is the only distributor that consistently does so!] \rPROMISING YOUNG WOMAN: Basic concept - Victim Gets Revenge - not so original, but the presentation certainly is. Events at the end are disturbing & point more to the reality that the abusers too often are neither remorseful nor punished. Timely, interesting, entertaining.

It was a really good movie. Just enough revenge without being overdone.

Great treatment of a troubling subject matter. Cassie's method of revenge for the wrongs done to her friend are clever fun, but the film really gets to the heart of the matter of what way too many women face and the dismissive way these assaults are handled.
