We enjoyed the movie very much.

I enjoyed Promising Young Woman. It gave me The Brave One with a twist vibes. I am happy the assult wasn't shown. I feel the actors played their roles well. Carey did an amazing job!

I hate how many times I've heard those 'nice guy' lines, the writers really nailed that. I got full body chills at "It's every guy's worst nightmare to get an accusation like that" "Can you imagine every woman's worst nightmare?". I wish there had been a bit more focus on Nina, maybe flashbacks that led to Cassie's full revenge mode (although maybe that's a different, less fun type of movie..) Overall, a strong revenge story.

I really appreciated this film so much. Carey Mulligan is a tectonic force whose presence is like an earthquake...sometimes an unnerving quiet rumble and at others, a gargantuan tremor strong enough to flatten a dean’s office to rubble. The ensemble is filled to the brim with underutilized gems (Molly Shannon, Laverne Cox, and Jennifer Coolidge!!!) and I enjoyed how each character came and went. This film’s structure was very clever...I liked the tally marks as dividers. Found the ending a bit too optimistic with its justice and timed texts but appreciated it nonetheless
