I expect this movie will get much higher ratings from the younger audience. It is geared towards the 12-17 mark I would say. The story is not super compelling and holds no depth. That being said, I would highly recommend it for young teens - my daughter loved it. It's completely suitable and appropriate.

The film felt like a very expensive Hallmark movie. I really didn't believe any of the science in it. I knew from the scene right after the main guy's mom dies that the dad was going to be Gary Oldman. The main girl was written to be so over-the-top, she was extremely unbelievable as person. There are some sweet moments between the lead and the girl, like him opening the car door for her...
