Compelling drama with enough "feel good" moments to offset the extreme horror of war viewed up close.

Brutally honest film about the War. Great portrayal of Desmond Doss, the first conscientious objector. It was very good at portraying all of Desmond's life and the trials and tribulations of being a conscientious objector from his troops and commanders to the presentation of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Definitely a good film about Desmond Doss's life.

Great movie, but very graphic
