Although VERY graphic, it was an inspirational movie. I highly recommend!

I thought it was a very effective and well-cast movie that dealt with the real gore and hell of war and it had a good test of moral standards in light of a society that may be against you. The love story was too sappy to be interesting and I tuned out during this part. I really enjoyed the testimonials and interviews shown at the end of the movie, which put a good level of reality to the story.

Very well done. Starting with the love story. We felt like we were right there in the battle. What Doss did was beyond courageous. Showing the interviews at the end was great.My Dad was WWII Army, Normandy he was a 19 year old kid. He died in 2012 at age 87That war never left him.

Good, solid movie. Andrew Garfield was amazing. Showed the brutality of war and the courage of one man.
