Very enjoyable, makes me want to visit Britain!

I never watched the series but it made me feel sad it was over

A lushly filmed, sweetly sentimental ending that will satisfy any fan of the Downton franchise. Paying fitting tribute to characters, past and present, "the Grand Finale" does a better job than the two past films of using all the characters, upstairs and downstairs, in a series of intersecting storylines that neatly brings the series to a close and truly sets the stage for "a new era".

I thought that the film was terrific, with a lot of story lines tied up, but I felt that some missing characters could have fleshed it out a bit further: Tom's wife was absent, and perhaps a little more screen time between Lord and Lady Merton would have been nice. Anyway, overall, it was a pretty great film. Thank you for the chance to have this advanced screening.
