A great story told!

I thought this movie was very good. It had romance, family, beliefs, friendship, and of course sadness. I think it was well done and Desmond's story was told so believable. Glad I got to see some of the real heroes at the end of the movie. Congrats to Mel Gibson on his directorial skills.

Lots of gore and nerve-wracking war scenes, but they were all worth getting through in order to get to the heart-warming end of a very loving true story. Loved it. I was very moved.

It was good. Just the right amount of suspense, comedy, action. Bloody scenes were a bit much but we were also pretty close to the screen.
