Phenomenal. Great story, acting, action, and cinematography. It is definitely an instant classic.

Another great Gibson movie!! (With heart and violence)

Technically, this film is magnificent and yet, somehow, I walked out feeling less than fulfilled. Was the tedious setup? Was it the needless attention to severed body parts in the seemingly endless battle scenes? The bizarre Act 3? Hackshaw Ridge still is undeniably good craftsmanship if excessively long and a bit preachy.
