I really liked the human interest aspect of the story, but in some ways it was a pretty typical love story pasted into a science context. I'd rather have thought more about the science. Loved the twist at the end though.

The movie was good. Better than I had expected.

The Space Between us is a fun movie laced with inspiration. It is good spirited. There's little that is new or cutting edge here, but that does not keep if from being an enjoyable experience. I was put off by the implied sex of two 16 year olds. It wasn't needed to make the point of how special life is, and how much we take for granted.

This movie assumes we will all be using 17" wide plexiglas laptops in 16years. Right there, the "future" aspect was suspect. It is a story of a teenage boy on Mars wanting to be on Earth, and a teenage girl on Earth wanting to be anywhere else. The script has some pretty hokey lines and a predictable plot that drags out to 2hours. It's good, but better left for a Redbox night.
