For the most part, I enjoyed "The Space Between Us". I thought that Asa Butterfield and Britt Robertson gave winning performances, and had a very sweet chemistry. Carla Gugino and Gary Oldman lent weight to the film, and the idea of the story was interesting. I did think some things were a little predictable (the man in the photograph not being Gardner's father, his father actually being Nathaniel), but that's not a huge issue. What was an issue was the dialogue. Even with the conceit that Gardner was raised around scientists, I still think the dialogue was overly stilted. I also think that the movie is pretty slow to start, waiting too long to introduce the character of Tulsa.

good over all....plot, acting, music was great. and the ending was not what i the unrealistic happy ending i was expecting.

Very entertaining movie, Moves along well, however the ending seems to fall a bit flat & disjointed.

It was a touching movie. Fell in love with Gardner. However, I felt it paced along to quickly leaving out to many details.
