I enjoyed the story more than I did with Rise. While Rise's story felt like a C-plot, this movie makes Burn’s story an A/B plot. The quick flashbacks and CGI final boss monster lose me, but the movie is still enjoyable.

Movie was interesting a little to gory in some parts. Could have used a better story line.

lots of blood and horror were delivered on this adventure. I had a tense feeling with some of the scenes. Thank You

Heavy-handed in exploring a grieving family’s dark dynamics amid a battle against the deadites, the film feels like Platinum Dunes from 2006 influenced its production. It suffers from unnecessary exposition, poor acting, and a heavy-handed score. The film is alt-rock coded with some neat visual flares, but it’s a tame gore fest, mostly darkly lit and poorly staged. It strays from the original films’ DIY pragmatism and dark humor, offering nothing new. A solid one-shot sequence with multiple Texas Switches is fun, but overall, it’s recommended only to fans of this genre.
