It is too gore and you never get to understand the reason why family is demoniac

The writing wasn't good. they needed another couple of passes at the script. Not much of a journey with this one. The gore was on point and the actors did what they could with the script. It also looked great. Some pretty great looking sequences but as a whole it was disappointing. Still love the Evil Dead movies and I respect the effort

Kind of boring to be honest.

Very extreme violence- a few fun kills. Kind of missing the silliness and joy of previous installments.
