I was highly disappointed with the event as it was cancelled after hours of waiting in line. To only be given posters and a hat when we were promised a trailer and Q&A after hours in the summer heat in a line is unacceptable. I’m unsure how the technical issues AMC Lincoln Square started but I find it hard to believe that the theater was not aware of them earlier. I am hoping for a response as I travelled for this event.

This experience was truly awful. I know the crew at AMC was doing their best to handle it, but it was chaos. I was waiting since 7:30 AM because I absolutely ADORE Dune, but the fact that we waited so long in the heat by the trash cans just felt disrespectful. Then when we finally got inside, it was commotion, and if the screening were to work, seating would've still been a nightmare due to cutting. I am really sad that this happened, and I really hope you will do something to compensate for missing out on this experience because this movie, this book, and this world mean so so so much to me.

Seriously? I would give this zero stars as possible because it didn’t even happen, and I waited in line for four hours for nothing. It could not have been worse. Not only did it not happen, the communication was abysmal. They didn’t tell us what was going on for those hours of waiting. I still don’t understand what happened. I’m so disappointed, it’s completely turned me off this movie.
