The story put me to sleep somewhere in act 1. I woke up in the middle to end of act 2. It didn’t hold my attention. So sorry.

It wasn't great, but it was entertaining. It was definitely a bit choppy - like this movie couldn't pick a genre or something. The humor was great and I wish there was more of it. There were moments when it was super dramatic and serious, but it just didn't flow very well. Maybe they just didn't get to do any reshoots because of covid and got stuck editing together whatever they had already filmed? My friends and I enjoyed doing a humorous running commentary during the movie than we did watching it.

If you are in the mood for an old fashion kind of SciFi humans vs. aliens movie then this is the movie for you. However, this is not the most logical film ever made so to enjoy it you are going to have to overlook the questionable treatment of time travel and the most likely results of what would happen if you were to yank thousands of people out of a timeline that you are part of.

It was a little long and would have made for a great 3-part series. The future soldiers could have been developed better, like what happens to them now they can't go back to the future? And since Dan changed the future timeline, does everyone cease to exist? Are their children illegal aliens? How do they establish citizenship since they haven't been born yet? What if they run into their future selves? PARADOX. I guess if you don't think about it too hard, it's better than average.
