It was an interesting movie. Some gaps but generally enjoyable.

dumb fun action with a weak final act

The Tomorrow War is a decent movie overall. The action is pretty cool and has some good tension. Chris Pratt is a good lead. The father and daughter connection was cliche but effective enough throughout the movie. The aliens are very well designed and different than the typical aliens seen in other films. The side characters didn't really add much for me. I would mildly recommend this movie to others.

The pacing is off. Several times throughout the film the action ramps up, and then someone throws out a boat anchor and we have a 5 minute deep conversation.\r\rIt's like someone took the plots (and sets) of: Alien, Edge of Tomorrow, Starship Troopers, and Independence Day, and mashed them all together.\r\rI'd send it back to editing and cut 20min to make it a more coherent, fast paced sci-fi action flick.
