Movie was good needed more action/thrill.

The Meg is a solid summer film that hits all the right story beats. Jason Statham's self-aware 90's action hero bravado and Li Bingbing's charm round out a good cast of diverse oceanographers. It could have leaned more into the silliness of the premise, especially with Statham's frequent winking at the camera, but if watched with a tinge of irony, The Meg is good summer fun.

Fun twists on a fairly standard giant creature film.

It was pretty good. The CGI was really well done on the shark. My favorite part of the movie was probably seeing my little brother react to everything since he really loves dinosaurs.
