At the beginning the movie has a very slow pace. There's plenty of things going on and that might throw you off. It has a few funny moments and plenty of creepy ones.

The cinematography was beautiful, but the movie never really got to where I wanted it. Also Keanu reeves as great

Actually I wanted to give it 2.5 stars but that's not an option. For me, two stars = eh, while 3 stars = worth seeing. The Neon Demon is somewhere in between. The premise is interesting and some of the cinematography was spectacular, but the movie never felt fluid. Not to mention some of the scenes were hard to watch. If you like artsy movies, take a look. Otherwise, don't bother.

Perhaps Refn's most intense film yet, but half the film feels like it's overly indulgent slo-mo and panning shots. An interesting (albeit exaggerated) take on the cutthroat world of modeling, though, with a Lady Bathory twist.
