It was well scripted but the pace was slow.

Looks pretty and the soundtrack is cool, but all of the characters are pretty unlikeable.

'The Neon Demon' certainly has its moments of intense thrill and emotional payoff, but unfortunately many of the characters are one-dimensional and their development over the course of the movie feels very unnatural. Keanu Reeves and Jena Malone gave the only genuine performances in the film, with every other actor feeling odd and out of place in their respective roles. Refn continues to believe in his own style over substance within his films, leaving him clinging for the success of 'Drive'.

Neon Demon was a very eclectic film. It was visually amazing along with its music.
