The movie was entertaining and it took you on an adventure.

Cute. Simple plot. Good for a quiet movie date. Couple of plot issues. Doesn't get into much of the science but that's to be expected with this type of movie.

Not really a movie about space or Mars at all. Effective teenage rom-com with a little E.T. thrown in for good measure, if predictable. Asa Butterfield was likable, Britt Robertson did what she does, and I will watch Gary Oldman read the phone book.

I enjoyed the film, more than I thought I would.Lots of tears. Asa Butterfield is magnificent as the boy born on Mars. His face is so expressive and conveyed the innocence and realness of a person who has been sheltered all of his life. Brit Robertson is also really good as Tulsa, the only real friend he has.
