Ententaining plot. Sort of like the "Back to the Future" of 2016.

Movie was a 7 out of 10 for me, I enjoyed the journey the Gardner had with tulsa but just like most coming of age / love story now a days everything was moving too quick to really grow that connection with the characters. I would have liked more time with the main leads. The performances were pretty good, Gary Oldman is always awesome. Brit Robertson and Asa Butterfield do a good job carrying the film as the leads, I believed in both of their struggles and problems and why they would want to escape. I had trouble with some of the things they were capable of doing like stealing cars and being so good with computers but the technology was supposed to be advanced so I guess i was ok with it. I also had a little trouble with how they handled Gardner's mom getting pregnant at first but in the end it served a purpose so I also became ok with it. I will say this movie is something I would recommend but it is not a movie I will praise about.

A bit corney but entertaining none the less

I liked it, but it felt like there was too much going on and too many plots. At times I found myself bored, in other parts I cried, & in others I laughed. It also felt a bit slow and really long.
