I enjoyed watching this movie, but it wasn't without its problems. The best part were its two leads who both had good chemistry with one another. While some of the dialogue felt a bit too on the nose, it was still believable. I also found the score to be a pleasant surprise. The worst part, surprisingly was with Gary Oldman's character. The adults both felt rather wooden for the most part and not nearly as compelling. In addition, there were at least three moments in the film in which I knew when it happened that it would be reincoorperated later. There weren't many moments I actively disliked, but there weren't many that stood out to me either. It was pretty good, but not great.

I thought it was a good movie, and I thought Asa Butterfield did a great job playing the outsider in the world in which he was dealt.

A sweet teen romance but somewhat predictable regarding the Richard Branson-like character as the father. Still, always great to see a plucky girl heroine who saves the day!
